All-Star big man DeAndre Jordan won't play for the Brooklyn Nets on Monday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Jordan is out due to left ankle soreness.

Jarrett Allen will see extended minutes against the Cavs with Jordan out. The Nets are 8-8 on the season, good for seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings.
In his first season with the Nets, Jordan is averaging 7.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 blocks per contest. He’s shooting 66.7 percent from the field.
Jordan signed a four-year, $40 million deal with the Nets this offseason in free agency. He split time last season with the Dallas Mavericks and New York Knicks. Jordan has started three games this season and come off the bench 12 times.
Spencer Dinwiddie had to put on his Superman cape last week for the Nets, who were playing without superstar point guard Kyrie Irving. Uncle Drew is dealing with a shoulder injury, so Dinwiddie was the main option on offense last week sans Irving.
On the season, Dinwiddie is putting up 19.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 5.1 assists. The 26-year-old is shooting 42.2 percent overall, 29.0 percent from the 3-point line and 86.0 percent from the charity stripe. Dinwiddie won the Player of the Week Award last week for the Eastern Conference.
