The public consensus was that the Brooklyn Nets will have a hard time with three ball-dominant superstars following the acquisition of James Harden to join Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

Retired NBA superstar Dwyane Wade, however, recently made a compelling case why the blockbuster trade for Harden could actually reap success for Brooklyn.

After Harden's magnificent Nets debut against the Orlando Magic on Saturday, the Flash noted that The Beard actually looks happy for the first time this season and could actually focus on just playing high-level basketball once more.

The so-called James Harden-saga with the Houston Rockets was one of the most grueling storylines early in the 2020-21 season. The one-time MVP has publicly asked for a trade and appeared like he just went through the motions during his last days in Houston.

The Nets, meanwhile, were already experiencing some turmoil of their own with their other superstar Kyrie Irving's unexplained leave of absence. Most pundits claimed that adding Harden to the mix only complicates things in Brooklyn. But as Dwyane Wade stressed, athletes play better when they are actually put in a healthy environment.

The Beard did look revitalized in his new situation on Saturday, as he played arguably his best game of the season so far. Harden became the first player to record a 30-point triple-double in a debut for a new team. He also recorded a  franchise-best 14 dimes, along with 12 rebounds, four steals, and one block in the Nets' 122-115 win.

As far as Dwyane Wade is concerned, the Nets will do just fine this season now that James Harden is where he wants to be.
