Kevin Durant and PJ Tucker have fought each other in multiple high-stake battles in recent years. In spite of the countless back-and-forth between them on the court, these two competitors have developed a mutual respect for one another—enough to warrant some good old ribbing from time to time.

The Miami Heat's newly acquired forward recently posted a lengthy message on Instagram dedicated to Milwaukee. It was so heartfelt and emotional that someone had to intervene before Cream City gets filled with ninjas cutting onions.

As they say, not all heroes wear capes. Sometimes, it's a Brooklyn Nets jersey.

From Houston to Milwaukee, Tucker has always been given the unenviable task of containing Durant. Of course, stopping KD is next to impossible but Tucker did his part which led to the Milwaukee Bucks capturing the 2020-21 title.

The shoe connoisseur has decided to take his talents to South Beach. After failing to defend their Eastern Conference crown last season, the Heat are poised for a bounceback campaign. Aside from Tucker, Miami also landed one of the biggest prizes this free agency in Kyle Lowry.

Their additions to a roster already bannered by Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo put Miami in a position for a deep playoff run. Apparently, Kevin Durant and the Nets are also bent on redeeming themselves following their playoff exit at the hands of the Bucks.

Another installment to the Tucker-Durant postseason series may very well be in the offing.
