Kyrie Irving is not just about the handles. And Flat Earth theories.

On Sunday's much-anticipated NBA All-Star Game, the Brooklyn Nets' ankle-breaking, jelly shot-making, sage-burning guard showed he also has the hops.

After a turnover by Team LeBron early in the contest, Irving got an outlet pass from Bradley Beal. With the lane open, Irving went straight to the rim and threw it down in the face of Nikola Jokic (via Bleacher Report).

It's not every day we see Irving slam the ball home, so it was truly a treat for fans to see him stuff it down. He started things off for Team Durant with a couple of baskets, but they quickly got overpowered by Team LeBron. Irving and company weren't able to recover and lost the game, 170-150.

Irving, who appeared in his seventh NBA All-Star Game, played a game-high 32 minutes, finishing with 24 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field while adding five rebounds, 12 assists, and two steals.

While it's relatively rare for the 6'2″ Irving to dunk these days, he certainly threw it down in high school. But it's also no secret that he's more known for his slick dribbling moves and high-scoring binges.

Safe to say, we won't be seeing Kyrie Irving in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest anytime soon.
