Brooklyn Nets head coach Steve Nash is still unsure about when can Kyrie Irving make his much-awaited return.

The Nets are now seeing a glimmer of hope with three of the team's key players LaMarcus Aldridge, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have cleared NBA health and safety protocols, per Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

Despite the good news, coach Nash had earlier reiterated that it may still need “a week or two” before Irving can finally complete his Nets comeback.

“With Kyrie, I’m not sure but it’s coming,” Nash told reporters Monday via NJ.com. “He’s already been in for eight days or more so he should be. I’m not sure the exact sure of how many days right now but he’s got to be getting close.”

“It’s hard to say but I would say probably somewhere between a week and two weeks,” he explained. “He’s isolating, so that kinda puts another layer to the ramp-up. It’s not like he’s been working out. I’d imagine it’s going to be closer to two weeks once he comes out of protocols. We’ll see how it goes though because we have to evaluate him from a physical and performance standpoint, and then a basketball standpoint as well.”

Prior to revealing the timetable of Irving's return, Nash already envisioned that the All-Star point guard will be taking off some pressure on James Harden in the backcourt.

Durant, on the other hand, is very likely to rejoin the Nets squad that will suit up for Thursday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers at Barclays Center.
