Kevin Durant made history on Wednesday after surpassing his head coach, Steve Nash, on the all-time 3-points list. After the contest, the Brooklyn Nets tactician had a rather frosty reaction to the milestone.

The Nets superstar surpasses Nash for 26th on the 3-points made list. He entered Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers tied with Nash at 1685, so he just really needed one to claim the spot for himself. KD ended up two triples made en route to 23 points.

Nash sure is happy with Durant's accomplishment, but he's in no way surprised with it. After all, KD is one of the best players the game has ever seen and so it's only natural he breaks various scoring-related records.

For what it's worth, the Nets coach also pointed out that Durant still has a lot of players to pass on the said list.

“Yeah I mean well, he’s one of the best whose ever played our game so its no surprise. It was coming I'm sure. What number is he? [26th all time ] He’s got a few more guys to pass,” Nash shared in his postgame presser, per Dave Early of ClutchPoints.

To be fair, it's not surprising that Steve Nash couldn't care less about the accomplishment and Kevin Durant breaking his own record. Besides, he has bigger and better things to think about as they navigate what has been an up-and-down season.

While the Nets are one of the top teams in East, roster issues such as Kyrie Irving's absence and Nic Claxton's health have severely affected their play. Simply put, they are far from unleashing their full potential as a team.

Furthermore, Nash surely doesn't want KD to stop from climbing the NBA history ladder, especially if it leads to wins for the Nets.
