Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar is among the three PSG players who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, according to Sky Sports. The Brazilian reportedly feels “very good” despite contracting the virus.

French sports newspaper L'Equipe reported the trio of PSG players were returning from holidays in Ibiza, Spain, and will now start a seven-day quarantine process.

PSG has yet to confirm the identity of the three players who tested positive and the squad will continue to be tested regularly over the next few days. PSG will have a delayed start to their Ligue 1 season, scheduled to begin on Sept. 10 as they travel to face Lens.

Neymar is coming off a long campaign after recently losing 1-0 in the UEFA Champions League final to Bayern Munich. The Brazilian star recently vowed to stay with the team amid the usual offseason rumors of his potential departure.

Considering the string of competitions after the Ligue 1 was canceled and the title defaulted to top-gunner PSG, the Parisians will have an extended break to rest their legs and regroup, but they will be back on the pitch in a matter of a week.

If Neymar clears his quarantine and tests negative before Sept. 10, he could be among Thomas Tuchel's starting XI when PSG takes on Lens for the season-opener. PSG asked Ligue 1 for a postponement after playing three games in 10 days in the UEFA Champions League.

Neymar, Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes were known to be three players who took the chance to extend their holidays in Ibiza, according to Diario AS — though their identity has yet to be confirmed by the club.
