With the 2018 NFL Draft coming up, there has been plenty of debate regarding which quarterback will be taken first. Among this year's notable prospects is UCLA's Josh Rosen.

Although he is touted as the purest passer in his class, there have been some concerns regarding questions about his character in the past. However, Rosen said during an appearance on B/R's Simms & Lefkoe Podcast that he is ready to prove himself as the best among the other prospects:

“I don't really care where I go, as long as they sincerely believe that I'm the best fit for them,” he said. “Because I promise you I'm going to put absolutely every ounce of effort I have into this game to be the most successful, and I am very confident I'm going to be the last man standing in this draft class when all is said and done.”

“I hope the team does their homework, and I hope the team picks me because they think I'm going to be the best fit for that organization.”

It is encouraging to see this type of fire from a player who has been dubbed as somewhat aloof at times. It did not help that even his former head coach was initially hesitant to peg Rosen as a franchise signal-caller. Through all the tumultuous headlines, however, there are those who believe he could be the most surefire pick. Regardless, he still faces some stiff competition from the number of other quality quarterback prospects in this draft.

Some mock drafts have Rosen being taken within the top-5 while others have him dropping out of the top-10. There are still a number of quarterback-hungry teams that are still potentially looking to position themselves to take one of the top prospects. That said, it will be interesting to see which team decides to go all in on the former UCLA product.
