James Harrison was one of the best edge rushers in the NFL when he played for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Everyone knows he is in good enough shape to still play but would he?

The former Steelers outside linebacker posted a picture on Instagram joking about coming out of retirement. Harrison is seen in the picture with Von Miller of the Denver Broncos.

Could you imagine a prime Harrison coming off of the edge on the opposite side as Miller? Good luck to all offensive linemen and quarterbacks in the NFL.

While Harrison played in the NFL, he accrued five Pro-Bowl appearances, two All-Pro nominations, and was named the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year in 2008. Harrison spent the majority of his career in Pittsburgh.

During his time in Pittsburgh, Harrison tallied 80.5 sacks, 33 forced fumbles, and 142 hits on the quarterback. Getting to the quarterback was easy for Harrison while staying out of the gym has not been easy.

After he left Pittsburgh, Harrison played with the Cincinnati Bengals and unceremoniously ended his career with the New England Patriots. To put it lightly, Steelers fans did not approve of Harrison's decision to go to New England.

Since retiring in 2017, Harrison has remained in the gym and has constantly posted videos of him staying in shape. Harrison could probably make weight-lifting a career now that football is done with.

At 41-years old, Harrison seems content with being retired from the NFL.

Fortunately for quarterbacks, Harrison is joking about coming out of retirement and not actually doing it.
