The Arizona Cardinals selected former Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Kyler Murray with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Now, it appears Murray has already become the early favorite to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award in 2019, according to BetOnline.ag.

Coming in at +225 to take home such an honor, Murray will immediately become the starter in Arizona, which has presumably helped lead the soon-to-be rookie to the top of the leaderboard.

With Murray leading the way as the month of May looms, former Ohio State Buckeyes and current Washington Redskins quarterback Dwayne Haskins, who was selected at No. 15 overall this past weekend, currently has +700 odds to become the next Offensive Rookie of the Year. With Murray leading Haskins by a wide margin, former Alabama Crimson Tide and current Oakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs is even further back at +900.

It is also worth noting that no other players currently sport odds better than +1000.

This hardly comes as a surprise, however. Haskins' draft stock continued to fall; the former Buckeyes signal caller was once thought of as the possible No. 1 pick in 2019. This obviously all changed once Kyler Murray burst onto the scene by winning the Heisman Trophy and ultimately becoming the first player off the board. Murray also has no competition in Arizona with the Cardinals promptly trading quarterback Josh Rosen to the Miami Dolphins. On the other hand, Haskins will compete alongside Case Keenum and Colt McCoy in Washington, though the first-year signal caller will surely make his way under center at some point in 2019.
