Will Grier put together a huge 2018 season for the West Virginia Mountaineers. Now, he is turning his focus to preparing for the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft, with quite a few teams having a need at his position.

Looking ahead at the draft, there are a couple of quarterbacks ranked well above Grier. Both Dwayne Haskins and Kyler Murray are considered top-10 picks. That makes Grier and fellow quarterbacks Drew Lock and Daniel Jones intriguing options later in the first round.

According to a new report from Adam Schefter of ESPN, Grier “put on a show” at his Pro Day in front of at least 10 NFL teams. Among those teams were the New York Giants, Washington Redskins, Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots, and New Orleans Saints.

Needless to say, this could change the outlook of the first round. Teams that were considering making a desperate attempt to trade up may be comfortable waiting and taking Grier later in the first round.

Last season at West Virginia, Grier put together a big all-around season. He completed 67.0 percent of his pass attempts for 3,864 yards, 37 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. Grier also rushed for three touchdowns on the year.

Standing in at 6-foot-2 and 223 pounds, Grier has the size to be a top-notch NFL quarterback. Among the teams listed, the Redskins, Patriots, and Saints make a lot of sense for him.

All of that being said, it will be interesting to see what ends up happening with him. He has the arm to be a very good quarterback at the next level and this workout may very well have sealed his future as a first-round pick.
