The NFL released the 2020 schedule for all 32 teams on Thursday, and the Buffalo Bills were discovered to have four primetime games. Following the release of the schedules, Bills GM Brandon Beane views the team getting four primetime games as a sign of respect.

“Yeah, four is a lot,” Beane said on NFL Network. “Obviously appreciate the respect and that’s a lot to live up to.”

The first primetime game that Buffalo will be a part of will take place in Week 6 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. Of course, Beane realizes that playing against the defending champions can be a good litmus test for the Bills.

“(The Chiefs) are a loaded team, what a great year they had and they are the champs,” Beane said. “Any time you play a championship team, it’s always a good test to see where your team is at. Coach (Andy) Reid and that whole team… we’ll have our work cut out for us.

Besides the Chiefs, the Bills will also square off against the reigning NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers in Week 13. Then, in Weeks 14 and 16, Buffalo is scheduled to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots.

Given that Tom Brady is no longer in New England, the Bills are expected to take the mantle as the top team in the AFC East. Especially after they were able to add Stefon Diggs via trade this offseason.

Just this past season, Buffalo finished with a 10-6 record and were able to advance to the postseason. As the Bills continue to improve, they should expect to receive more attention at the national level.
