Deshaun Watson's career got a huge boost when he was acquired by the Cleveland Browns despite his legal battles. He has expressed optimism about his new journey in a new city with a new coach and new teammates.

The Browns, however, could lose a valuable weapon in running back D'Ernest Johnson. He had a breakout campaign last season and he has hinted several times that he wants a more lucrative contract, as he's now a restricted free agent.

On Tuesday, according to a report by Heavy, Johnson got himself a new agent in Drew Rosenhaus, who's known in the NFL as a tough negotiator. This would only fuel speculations that he might be looking elsewhere to get a pay increase. And with Rosenhaus by his side, the Browns will be even more pressured to make a move.

The Browns already tendered an offer sheet to the 26-year-old Johnson for $2.4 million. But as he has said in his cryptic tweets in recent weeks, he knows his worth.

Johnson, who went undrafted in 2019, played behind Kareem Hunt and Nick Chubb in his first two seasons with the Browns. But last season, he was given more opportunities and he sure didn't disappoint, tallying 534 yards on 100 carries with three touchdowns.

Hunt and Chubb will still hold the fort for the Browns and help Watson in his maiden stint with the team, but retaining a hardnosed guy like Johnson won't hurt at all.
