As if things weren't bad enough for the Indianapolis Colts on the injury front, they didn't appear to be any better on Tuesday.
On Monday, it was revealed that quarterback Carson Wentz will miss 5-12 weeks with a foot injury that requires surgery. Also on Monday, all-pro offensive lineman Quenton Nelson hobbled out of practice and on Tuesday, the best of the bunch for the Colts up front showed up to practice in a boot.
Quenton Nelson has arrived at practice wearing a boot on his right foot.
Not sure what the injury is but we’ll have a chance to ask Frank Reich after practice today.

Head coach Frank Reich had described the injury on Monday as a “ding.” The Colts will hope, along with their fans, that Nelson wearing the boot on Tuesday is just out of precaution and that it isn't anything more than that.
The Colts were set to compete with the Tennessee Titans in what appeared to be a two horse race in the AFC South this season. Now, with Indianapolis dealing with plenty of injuries, the Titans may have the edge entering the year.
Nelson himself is a vital part to the operation for the Colts. He's been named an NFL First-team All-Pro in all three seasons he's been in the league, which is unheard of for any player early in their career.
The injury to Wentz with the news of him being out indefinitely only piled things on for the Colts. Now, they will likely look to Jacob Eason or the newly picked up Brett Hundley to hold down the fort until Wentz returns to the action. Whoever is under center for Indianapolis will keep their fingers crossed that Quenton Nelson is a full go by Week 1.
