As the Kansas City Chiefs' Week 7 game with the Tennessee Titans comes close, all eyes will be on Patrick Mahomes and Co. as they try to climb up the AFC West. With that said, we'll be looking at the Chiefs-Titans showdown and share our predictions for what should be a tightly contested affair.
The Chiefs finally had an impressive game after a rocky start of losing three games in the early weeks of the 2021 season—something that hasn’t happened for quite some time. Kansas got back in the win column after they dominated Washington 31-13 in Week 6. They also only allowed a season-low of 276 yards, which is great news for their below-average defense.

However, if Kansas wants to take home another victory in Week 7, they’ll have to play even better against a Titans team coming off a huge victory. Unlike their game versus Washington, the Chiefs cannot afford to fumble the ball so much.
With that said, here are four bold predictions for the Chiefs’ road game vs. the Titans on Sunday:

Kansas City Chiefs Week 7 Predictions
4. Chiefs suffer another loss
Okay, this might come out a little too strong, but momentum will be huge here. The Titans are coming off a week where they defeated AFC division favorites Buffalo Bills—the same team that the Kansas City lost to a couple of weeks back.
The Titans were able to show the flaws in Buffalo’s offensive line, all while Derrick Henry also exposed the opposing defense.
If the Titans can do that versus the Bills, then chances are they can also pick apart Kansas’ defense, which as mentioned above, isn’t great at all. The Chiefs’ defense will be the reason for their fourth loss of the season.
3. Kansas City will struggle stopping Julio Jones
The prediction here is that Jones will make an impact in Week 7’s game and will make life hard for the Chiefs’ defense.
There’s a reason why the Titans made a huge move by acquiring the wide receiver in the offseason: to show up in vital games like this. With the shaky defense of the Chiefs, there’s a good chance that Jones might be too much for the team on Sunday.

2. Another 300+ yard game for Patrick Mahomes
If there is one silver lining for the Chiefs, it's the fact that Patrick Mahomes should have another brilliant game. After his 397-yard showing against the Washington Football Team, the superstar QB looks primed for another big game.
The problem is: while he should be able to go over 300 yards, it might not be enough for the Chiefs to win. After all, the Titans' defense has really been doing well.

If the Chiefs drop Sunday’s game as predicted, it’ll be another noisy and annoying week for them when it comes to the headlines.
Andy Reid, Mahomes and the rest of Kansas City have probably heard all the noise in the past few weeks after each loss, but it’s going to get even tougher (and concerning) if they don’t win on Sunday.
Kansas City is held to a standard they have to meet because for Mahomes and Co., it’s championship or bust. Another loss would put them way behind the AFC West race, which could spark some big changes on the team.
