The Pittsburgh Steelers had another disappointing loss on Sunday night in their game against the Baltimore Ravens and Ben Roethlisberger is putting the blame on himself and his inability to get on the same page with his receivers.

“I'm not on the same page with anybody right now,” the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback said when asked whether he's on the same page with star receiver Antonio Brown via ESPN.

Roethlisberger did pass for 274 yards and one touchdown but he was only 27 of 47 and he and his receivers didn't seem to be in sync with each other. The Steelers had a chance near the end of the game to push for a comeback but a bad throw off his back foot was picked off by the Ravens and the Steelers fell to 1-2-1.

“I'm not playing well enough,” Roethlisberger said. “I need to play better. Today was just a bad day at the office. I promise I'll be back to play better.”

After a huge game to start the season, James Conner has fallen back to earth the last few weeks and that has put more pressure on Roethlisberger. Against the Ravens Conner only had nine attempts for 19 yards for an average of 2.1 yards per carry.

As important as it is for Roethlisberger to get on the same page with his receivers, it's also important that Conner and the other running backs do a better job of establishing themselves on the ground. If both of these things can happen the Steelers can still turn around their season.
