Nick Mullens will once again be the starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers when they face the Denver Broncos in Week 14.
Mullens has seen plenty of playing time over the past several weeks due to the injury to starting quarterback CJ Beathard.
The young quarterback will look to continue making progress when he gets the start under center for yet another week.

Mullens had a sensational start to his career by going 16 of 22 for 262 yards and three touchdowns in San Francisco's 34-3 win over the Raiders on Nov. 1, but he's faced some struggles since that point.
He threw two interceptions in each game against the New York Giants and Tampa Bay Bucs, but he bounced back with a better performance by going 30 of 48 for 414 yards while throwing two touchdowns and an interception in the 43-16 loss to Seattle.
At this stage of the season, the Niners don't have much to play for. However, there's no doubt that head coach Kyle Shanahan would love to see his team – as well as Mullens – finish strong.
Mullens will get one of the team's top receiving weapons back this week, as Marquise Goodwin has returned after missing a few games due to a family matter.
San Francisco's remaining schedule won't exactly be easy, with the Niners slated for games against the Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears, and Los Angeles Rams after this week's matchup against the Broncos.
