San Francisco 49ers running backĀ Jeff Wilson has gotten off to a hot start in Sunday's game against the New England Patriots.

With 10 minutes remaining in the first quarter, Wilson powered through the Patriots' defensive line for a rushing touchdown, giving the 49ers an early 7-0 lead.

According to Jim Nantz of CBS Sports, that's the first time the Patriots had allowed a first-drive touchdown in a regular-season home game in 32 games.

As for Wilson, it's certainly good to see him healthy again.Ā At the beginning of the week, he was listed as questionable to play in today's game against the Patriots due to a calf injury. However, he's back in the lineup and already giving the 49ers a boost in the backfield.

The 49ers, who have struggled this season, will be seeking to win their second consecutive game today. They're currently the fourth seed in the NFC West.
