While the few remaining teams continue to battle it out for their shot at a Stanley Cup, the rest of the NHL is gearing up for the offseason. With just more than a month until the NHL Draft, teams are expected to begin setting up shop and preparing for the roster moves set to come. The latest NHL trade rumors include some huge names, including Minnesota Wild forward Kevin Fiala, Vancouver Canucks star JT Miller, and Chicago Blackhawks forward Alex DeBrincat, courtesy of Frank Seravalli of the Daily Faceoff.

Among the big names who could be dealt ahead of the NHL Draft, DeBrincat could prove to be the most intriguing option, due to the fact he's still just 24 years old. With only one more year on his current contract with the Blackhawks, Chicago could be motivated to trade him this offseason, rather than let him walk away for nothing at the end of his deal. Chicago figures to be among the worst teams in hockey over the next few years, and that unfortunate reality makes DeBrincat's place in their ranks unclear. Any team with the finances to sign him to an extension should show interest in the star attacker who is coming off a season during which he recorded 78 points, including 41 goals.

Fiala has been linked to teams such as the New Jersey Devils, who themselves are said to be looking to deal the No. 2 overall pick in the draft. The Wild are expected to be priced out of any Fiala deal, and with the 25-year-old set to hit restricted free agency, they may not have a choice but try to find a trade partner. Barring the Wild trading off some other assets, there simply isn't the cap room to keep Fiala in Minnesota. NHL trade rumors surrounding Fiala will certainly heat up as we get closer to the draft.

As for Miller, he's one of the most experienced trade pieces this offseason. One of the NHL's best centers, Miller has the chance to sign a massive extension with the Canucks at the end of this season, though it's unsure if either side is too keen on that outcome. Vancouver won't want to enter the season with Miller not playing under a new contract, so they may well look to trade him this offseason in order to avoid the possibility of him walking in free agency.
