It was a sad day for the GTA RP community when everyone found out about Kenny “Blue622” Tancredi’s passing on July 4, 2020. Exactly one year later, the NoPixel community banded together again to commemorate Blue622 in a 30-minute memorial race.

Blue622 was a streamer who was amongst the members who helped popularize the NoPixel servers. Ever since his passing, the devs of the server paid tribute to him as they permanently placed his character and car outside his in-game house. It was without a doubt a well-deserved sign of respect to the late streamer, especially considering that he helped build the server to what it has become today. Because of those contributions, NoPixel demonstrated a class act by celebrating his one-year death anniversary in the form of an epic race.

GTA RP players from all around the globe made sure to pay their respects by participating in the event. Even huge streamers like Summit1g and xQc were in attendance. Because the servers were bombarded with players, some inevitable crashes came along during the event. Despite these instances, the memorial race was still very much amusing to all the players. Thankfully there weren’t any hackers, griefers, or killjoys to spoil the event.
