After winning against Colgate on Monday night, 77-62, Notre Dame's men's basketball team received a message from the brother of their point guard, Matt Farell.

Army Lt. Bo Farrell congratulated the team and said that he will see them all soon. To his younger brother's surprise, he was being captured on video while outside the door of the gym and made his entrance with a huge ovation from the crowd.

The Army veteran was not due to come home from Afghanistan until February but surprised even his parents with his unexpected appearance after the game.

The younger Farrell scored 13 points and dished out seven assists in their win which helped improve their record to 10-2 for the season.

With his family now complete, the Fighting Irish are hoping it inspires Farrell more and get him motivated to produce even better numbers as the season progresses.
