The Denver Nuggets fell to the Golden State Warriors Monday night in the second game of their First Round series. The Nuggets are now 0-2 and have a lot of work to do to get back into the series.

However, things don't seem to be going in Denver's favor as of recent. A lot of extra negativity came with the Monday night loss. MVP candidate Nikola Jokic was ejected with seven minutes left in the game. The Joker was reacting to a non-call on Warriors' Draymond Green when he was kicked from the contest.

Even before Jokic's ejection, the Nuggets dealt with in-team issues. In the third quarter, tensions were high and the Warriors were gaining a decent lead. This is when Will Barton and DeMarcus Cousins got into a verbal altercation.

Postgame, a reporter asked Barton what the issue was between the Nuggets teammates. He didn't get into detail but definitely wasn't proud of the incident.

HoopsHype tweeted the postgame clip Tuesday morning.

“Nothing, just some goofy sh*t,” the Denver guard said. “Just some goofy sh*t that happened on the bench that I shouldn't entertain. We can't let that happen in the series, in the playoffs, in the game. I gotta be better than that.”

Barton is right, if this team plans on turning the series around, they all need to be on the same page. If the Nuggets can pull off four wins, they'll take on the winner of the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Minnesota Timberwolves series.
