A short clip of Denver Nuggets combo guard Jamal Murray is making its rounds in social media for all the wrong reasons.

In the four-second video, Murray is seen taking a shot from deep and immediately looks to the camera in anticipation of the drained trey bomb. Unfortunately, he missed the shot, making him look like the exact opposite of what he was going for.

His reaction, upon learning that his attempt rattled out, is what makes the clip even more hilarious.

The video is reminiscent of an infamous Nick Young moment, in which Swaggy P also celebrated an attempt a tad early. The only difference between the two is that Young's embarrassing blooper happened during a televised NBA game. Here's a gif to remind you of that glorious moment.

It was perhaps Golden State Warriors main man Stephen Curry who made this celebration his own after successfully pulling off this high-risk, high-reward celebration on numerous occasions throughout his career. Below is one of the best examples of Curry showing everybody else how it's done. Murray and Young better take notice.

For his part though, Jamal Murray is a deadly 3-point sniper himself. In his sophomore campaign with the Nuggets, the 21-year-old averaged two connections from deep, along with 16.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.0 steals in 31.7 minutes per contest.

Murray has to be shooting better than he did in this clip if he hopes to help the Nuggets better last season's ninth-place finish in the Western Conference.
