The opening ceremonies have now taken place at the Tokyo Olympics. The United States was well represented by a large group that included the men's Team USA basketball team. Kevin Durant was present for the festivities but it was something that happened beforehand that left the Brooklyn Nets superstar at a loss for words.

Kevin Durant celebrates his birthday on September 29 every year. The superstar will turn 33-years-old on September 29 this year. For whatever reason, a prank started by Team USA on Friday had the entire United States teams and members singing happy birthday to KD, who looked on with extreme confusion.

KD looks absolutely puzzled as the happy birthday song is ringing out in his direction. Durant didn't say anything in the clip, he just looked on as everyone was shouting and laughing while singing. How this idea started or who came up with it is anyone's guess but it certainly left Twitter laughing.

Kevin Durant and Team USA are aiming for gold at the Olympics and anything less will be viewed as a big disappointment. Even though they struggled and fizzled through a couple of their exhibition games in the lead up to the games in Tokyo, Team USA is still a heavy favorite to take the gold medal home in men's basketball. A big reason for that, the presence of KD.

Devin Booker, Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton will be joining the party soon. All three just finished up the NBA Finals and are set to join Kevin Durant and the rest of Team USA in Tokyo and provide a much needed boost.
