USA Gymnastics star Suni Lee won the gold medal in the women's all-around competition on Thursday, keeping a recent tradition of American domination going in the event. An American woman has now won gold in this event in every Summer Olympics going back to 2004, with Lee following in the footsteps of teammate Simone Biles.
After winning gold in this event in 2016, Biles didn't participate this time around after she withdrew from the team competition earlier in the week at these Olympics. That didn't stop Biles from showing up to cheer on her teammate, and her reaction to Lee's gold medal is must-see:
Find you a friend, a teammate who will celebrate your personal victories as their own.

It has been a tough week at the Olympics for Simone Biles, but she seems to be in good spirits as her teammates enjoy success. Lee did an incredible job filling in for Biles earlier in the team competition to help Team USA win silver, and the 18-year-old stepped up to the plate in the all-around with a memorable performance to win the gold medal.
Simone Biles is the GOAT, but USA Gymnastics is also in good hands with Suni Lee. Congrats to her on her gold medal, and let's hope Biles gets back to competing soon.
