T.J. Warren was one of the most underrated acquisitions this offseason and the Indiana Pacers were happy to pick him up during the NBA Draft. In a move that saw the Pacers send nothing but cash to the Phoenix Suns, Warren was traded along with the No. 32 overall pick.

Indiana made the acquisition official today and Warren didn't waste time taking to his Twitter account to react to joining the Pacers.

Obviously, Warren is excited to have a fresh start with a team that can contend in the Eastern Conference. Indiana has consistently made the playoffs and have to feel good with the offseason that they have had.

In addition to Warren, the Pacers went out and acquired Malcolm Brogdon from the Milwaukee Bucks. They also signed Jeremy Lamb and T.J. McConnell in free agency. Myles Turner, Domantas Sabonis, and Victor Oladipo are the core of the team and these additions will compliment them nicely.

Last season with the Suns, Warren averaged 18.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists. He shot 48.6 percent from the floor overall and knocked down 42.8 percent of his three-point attempts. Those numbers show why this addition is so important for the Pacers.

Indiana has needed another legitimate scorer to pair with Oladipo. Warren may not put up the same numbers he did last year, but he is in a great situation that will help him compete in the playoffs moving forward.
