The Indiana Pacers came into the offseason hoping to make a splash or two. While they didn't come away with any “superstar” names, they were able to acquire quite a few major talents.

Victor Oladipo may not be ready to start the season right away, but he is expected to return at some point in December or January. He is recovering from a quad rupture, which hurt the Pacers in a big way. Indiana may not have signed a new All-Star, but they will be getting Oladipo back from injury, which is a major addition in and of itself.

Following the Pacers' moves to acquire names like point guard Malcolm Brogdon, shooting guard Jeremy Lamb, and forward T.J. Warren, Oladipo seems to be very pleased. Nate McMillan shared his star's thoughts on the team's moves.

“He's ecstatic, I know that,” McMillan said. “He's texting and calling each other every day. He knows what we did this offseason really helped and he's looking forward to getting on the court with these guys.”

Both Lamb and Warren, who were introduced on Sunday afternoon, have said that Oladipo has contacted them since they joined the Pacers.

Indiana desperately needed to find some more offensive firepower. All three of the Pacers' main acquisitions are capable of scoring in bunches. The team also signed point guard T.J. McConnell.

Kevin Pritchard has done an excellent job of building the roster for the 2019-20 season. There are still some question marks surrounding Oladipo, but he has time to heal and make sure he's at 100 percent. In the meantime, the Pacers will depend on Brogdon, Lamb, Warren, Domantas Sabonis, and Myles Turner to keep them in contention.

Expect to see this year's version of the Pacers end up being much better than the team they put on the court last season.
