The Green Bay Packers were absolutely stunned by an underdog San Francisco 49ers side in Lambeau Field on Saturday night. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers saw their season come crashing down after Niners kicker Robbie Gould scored the game-winning field goal to hand San Francisco a stunning 13-10 win.

Unfortunately for the Packers, their brutal loss sees them joining the Tennessee Titans — who themselves lost to the Cincinnati Bengals earlier in the evening, 19-16 — in an unwanted record not seen in the NFL in the past decade (h/t Rob Demovsky of ESPN):

Both the Packers and the Titans were considered the favorites in their respective matches on Saturday and shockingly, both teams lost to their underdog opponents. The Packers and the Titans also shared the privilege of entering the playoffs as No. 1 seeds, but in the end, it didn't matter as both teams have now been eliminated.

The biggest question for the Packers in the offseason will center around the future of superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers. This shock defeat in the Divisional Round will only work against the Packers as they hope to keep the reigning league MVP in Green Bay for at least another year. Needless to say, it's going to be a very interesting offseason for this franchise.
