The Carolina Panthers are still looking for quarterback options for next season. Baker Mayfield, who has yet to be traded from the Cleveland Browns, has emerged as an option.

Since so many teams have addressed the quarterback spot already, the Panthers are the most likely team for Mayfield to be traded to. Carolina also has the sixth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, which will afford them plenty of options to draft a QB. If they prefer a veteran option with some potential upside, they could look Mayfield's way.

On Instagram, Panthers wide receiver Robby Anderson voiced his opinion on Carolina being an option for Mayfield to be dealt to.

Anderson's comment echoes the sentiment that every NFL team has towards Mayfield. No one wants to trade for the former top overall pick, even QB-starved teams like the Panthers. This may be because the Browns killed all their trade leverage but it also has something to do with the poor season Mayfield just posted. He threw just 17 touchdowns along with 13 interceptions in 14 games. Although he may have been dealing with a nagging shoulder injury this season, he was straight-up bad.

The Panthers are likely going to be rebuilding for a while no matter which quarterbacks they bring into training camp. Mayfield could bounce back and be a respectable quarterback next season, but if Anderson has any say in the matter, he won't get the opportunity in Carolina.
