Antonio Brown looks set to make his debut with the New England Patriots in Week 2 despite the ongoing sexual assault case involving the wide receiver. Just a day after his game, Brown's accuser is scheduled to meet with the NFL.

Earlier in the week, the All-Pro receiver was accused of sexual assault by his former trainer Britney Taylor. The earliest day Taylor can meet with the NFL is Monday due to her getting married over the weekend.

Brown's former trainer accused the 31-year-old receiver of sexual assault and rape in a federal lawsuit in the Southern District of Florida. The NFL has been gathering information that pertains to the case this week.

As for Brown, the veteran wideout practiced all week with New England. The former Pittsburgh Steelers receiver has been preparing to play the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Throughout the week, the NFL considered placing Brown on the Commissioner's Exempt List.

Instead, they will allow the new receiver for the Patriots to play until they gather more evidence. Brown traveled with the Patriots to Miami and is expected to be part of the gameplan.

The talented wide receiver will join Josh Gordon and Julian Edelman in the offense as viable targets for Tom Brady. It's likely that New England tries to get Brown involved early so he can get some confidence in Josh McDaniels' offense.

Nevertheless, while Brown is planning to play on Sunday as his accuser will be preparing to speak to the NFL on Monday. We will continue to reveal more details in the case as they are discovered.
