New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick will hope to continue his impressive mark against high-scoring teams when his team takes on the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

ESPN's Rich Cimini offered a good reminder ahead of the huge game that Belichick holds the NFL record for most playoff wins against teams that averaged at least 30 points during the regular season, and the Patriots coach will try to add another to his resume on Sunday.

To be sure, Patriots fans aren't shocked by this bit of news, as under Bill Belichick, the Patriots have gone to the Super Bowl 11 times (including this time) and brought home five rings.

But this also has come a long way from what went on with the team in the very beginning of this season.

According to USA Today, Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady had “significant disagreements” at the beginning of the season, and those disagreements were threatening to completely end the relationship between the two superstars.

All of that seems to be in the past now, though, as Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots are currently set for the Super Bowl matchup against the Rams in what figures to be a highly entertaining game.
