Bill Belichick has been known as a hard nose coach and he really isn't one to open up about much. With Randy Moss going into the Pro Football Hall of Fame last weekend it was a good time for Belichick to open up about one of the biggest personalities in NFL history.

On the surface, it's a bit hard to imagine Belichick and Moss having a relationship but sometimes opposite attracts and that was the case with these two.

“Randy was a very special relationship,” Belichick said of Moss via Mass Live. “Just logistically, you just can't have that kind of relationship with everybody. There's just so many players. So many hours in the day. That was one, through a variety of circumstances, and probably more in the way that Randy came onto the team and again, other circumstances were involved there that just kind of evolved that way. I don't think any of us necessarily planned it, it just worked out.

Belichick also said that Moss had a big impact on him as a coach because he taught him to see the game from a different perspective.

“I learned a lot from Randy. Randy had a big impact on me as a coach. He taught me the game from a perspective that I had never really seen before or understood before. I'll always be grateful to him for doing that.”

The two accomplished almost everything together during their time with the Patriots except win a Super Bowl but that really can't take away from what they did together. It's also clear that what Moss taught Belichick still lives on in his coaching today.
