The New England Patriots have been the most impressive team in football over the first three games of the season, and it's not particularly close. But the defending champions haven't exactly faced a murderer's row of opponents, either, dominating the winless Pittsburgh Steelers at home, embarrassing the hapless Miami Dolphins on the road, and shellacking the woefully short-handed New York Jets back in Foxborough.

By far the Patriots' biggest test of the young season will come in Week 4, when they travel north to face the undefeated and ever-improving Buffalo Bills. While sophomore signal-caller Josh Allen will pose a threat to New England's defense, it's the other side of the ball where Bill Belichick's team may struggle most. Not just because Buffalo boasts one of the league's best defenses, either, but because the Patriots could be without Tom Brady's favorite target.

New England listed veteran wideout Julian Edelman as questionable with a chest injury on its final injury report ahead of Sunday's contest. Fortunately, he's been able to practice all week despite nagging discomfort, making it likely he'll suit up in Buffalo unless he suffers a setback between now and kickoff.

Edelman has 17 catches for 196 yards and a touchdown this season. He leads the Patriots' depleted receiving corps in catches, yards, targets, and first downs, proving as reliable as ever despite so many pass-catching weapons coming and going. New England lost Rob Gronkowski to retirement over the offseason, and traded Demaryius Thomas earlier this month in the wake signing Antonio Brown, who was released last week.
