The New England Patriots will have their toughest test of the season against the Buffalo Bills in Week 4 but it's uncertain if one of their wide receivers will be a full-go on Sunday. Julian Edelman remained as a limited participant in practice on Thursday.

Edelman sustained a chest injury in Week 3 against the New York Jets that caused him to exit the game early. Throughout this week, Tom Brady's favorite target has been limited in practice due to the injury.

Despite being limited, it is a positive sign to see Edelman be able to practice at all. Furthermore, practicing in any fashion on Thursday can directly correlate to a player suiting up on Sunday.

In New England's first three games this season, Edelman has corralled 17 receptions for 196 yards and a touchdown. Considering he is sharing targets with Josh Gordon and Phillip Dorsett, those numbers aren't anything to ignore.

At 33-years-old, Edelman is still one of the most reliable receiving threats in the NFL. The Patriots may need their versatile wide receiver when they take on an undefeated Bills team this Sunday.

Along with Edelman, there were other notable findings on the Patriots injury report. Among them, Brady was removed from the injury report after being limited with a calf injury.

Additionally, left tackle Marshall Newhouse missed practice on Thursday with an illness after being limited on Wednesday. Newhouse replaced Isaiah Wynn at left tackle in Week 3 versus the New York Jets.

Nevertheless, New England is dealing with injuries like everyone else is but Edelman seems to be on track to be in uniform on Sunday.
