New England Patriots linebacker Kyle Van Noy has no shortage of motivation as he tries to hype up the team's revenge tour for the playoffs. The Patriots lost in Week 17 against the Miami Dolphins, which cost them a chance at a first-round bye. As frustrated as the team is by the developments, Van Noy is using it as a chance to get revenge.

Last season, the Patriots lost to the Tennessee Titans, their opponent during this year's Wild Card weekend. If they can win against the Titans this week, they will be off to Arrowhead Stadium to face the Chiefs, a team that beat them earlier this season.

“At the end of the day, we’re in a blessed situation. We’re in the playoffs. We’re one of 12 teams in the playoffs. We have a chance to go on a revenge tour,” Van Noy said, via WEEI.com. “What better way to start off than with Tennessee, who we lost to last year. Got big motivation.”

If the Patriots win both of those games and the Baltimore Ravens win their game during the divisional round, the two teams will be facing off in the AFC Championship Game. The Ravens beat the Patriots earlier this season and it would be another chance to get some revenge.

If this is what Van Noy needs to get motivated that's fine, but it would be even better if the Patriots had beaten the Dolphins during Week 17 and they wouldn't have to be playing on Wild Card weekend.

The Titans and Patriots face off on Saturday at 8:15 PM ET.
