Browns superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has not had the production he envisioned when traded to Cleveland in the offseason. Due to so, some believe he could be traded for a second consecutive offseason. Naturally, the New England Patriots pop-up, as they need a true No. 1 wide receiver. What are their odds?

According to SportsLine, the Patriots have the second-best odds to employ Beckham in 2020 (+400). The Browns are first at -500.

Why are the Patriots a potential suitor? Perhaps it's because of Beckham's relationship and praise for New England alongside their need for him.

There was once rumors that the Patriots were vying a trade for Beckham. If it happened, it would be a dream for him. On Oct. 23, via Craig Kolodny of NBC Sports Boston, he said: “That was always a dream of mine to play for Tom Brady.”

On the trade rumors, Beckham said:

“Of course. Two, three years ago, there was speculation … and I was willing and ready to go over there at any point in time. That was always a dream of mine to play for Tom Brady, Tom Brady and Belichick. Tom and I talked for two or three years like, ‘If it happens, it happens and it would be cool.'”

Beckham went onto say that he admires quarterback Tom Brady while also calling him the GOAT. It appears as if he would not be too opposed to a trade that ships him off to Foxboro. Whether or not the Browns would make that trade is a different story.
