New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is considered by most to be the most clutch quarterback in football, and in 2018, the numbers backed that up.

According to Pro Football Focus, Brady had the highest clutch score in the NFL this past season for his performance in one-score games in the fourth quarter.

This shouldn't surprise anyone, but sometimes, people can tend to exaggerate just how “clutch” a player is based on perception, but in Brady's case, the perception and the reality are the same.

In a 2018 campaign when many were doubting whether or not Brady still had it in him to lead the Patriots through another playoff run, Brady ended up taking New England to another Super Bowl title, marking his sixth Super Bowl championship since taking over as the Pats' starting signal-caller in 2001.

No other quarterback in NFL history even has five rings, completely setting Brady apart from the rest.

On the regular season, the 41-year-old threw for 4,355 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions while completing 65.8 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 97.7 en route to a Pro Bowl appearance.

Due to some shaky performances during the second half of the season, many fans and media pundits wondered if Brady had finally arrived at the “cliff,” but, for what seems like the umpteenth time, the savvy veteran proved everyone wrong in the playoffs.

In doing so, Brady led the Patriots to 11 wins and their 10th straight AFC East division title. New England has also won 15 of the last 16 AFC East division crowns.
