The New England Patriots were humiliated by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the playoffs, losing 47-17. It was a tough way for this Patriots team to go out as many expected them to potentially win this game,

Players of the Patriots were not happy about the loss, including Hunter Henry. Henry had this to say about the Patriots' loss, according to Matthew Fairburn of The Athletic,

“We all still have a bad taste in our mouth about how we performed and how we played. That's still fresh on our mind.”

“We didn't play well down the stretch. But the biggest thing from this is how we grow.”

Despite the fact that the Patriots lost this game, and losing in the playoffs is never a good thing for a team, they must be pleased with how they performed this season. New England was able to win 10 games and make the playoffs despite being led by a rookie quarterback.

Unfortunately for New England, they lost some games that they had no business losing throughout the season, putting them in a difficult position for the playoffs. They may have had an easier first-round opponent and came away with a victory if they had taken care of business against some of the opponents they had lost to.

It will be intriguing to see what moves the Patriots make this summer, but they will need to improve in a few areas. Their defense was not as good as it normally is for a Bill Belichick-led team this season, and that's something the Patriots will focus on when deciding which players to bring in.
