The New England Patriots will battle the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday night with a Super Bowl berth on the line.

Not known for theatrics, Tom Brady actually took to Instagram to post a Boston hype video ahead of the matchup, featuring city legends such as Paul Pierce, David Ortiz and Zdeno Chara:

Brady is looking to make his ninth Super Bowl appearance.

The 41-year-old reached his eighth big game last year, only to fall to the Philadelphia Eagles. Overall, Brady has gone 5-3 in his Super Bowl trips, also owning a couple of losses to Eli Manning and the New York Giants.

However, in spite of all of Brady's success, he has only gone to the Super Bowl in back-to-back seasons once, accomplishing the feat during the 2004-05 campaign, when the Patriots repeated with a win over the Eagles after defeating the Carolina Panthers the year before.

New England was considered a very vulnerable team coming into this postseason, but after a first-round bye, the Pats went on to hammer the Los Angeles Chargers by a score of 41-28 in the Divisional Round of the playoffs last weekend.

The Patriots will now take on a Chiefs team that finished with the best record in the AFC and will have home-field advantage. Behind second-year quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City had the league's best offense this season.

The Chiefs defeated the Indianapolis Colts by a score of 31-13 in the Divisional Round to reach this point.

New England and Kansas City met earlier in the season, a 43-40 win for the Pats back on Oct. 14.
