New Orleans Pelicans All-Star Zion Williamson is the epitome of a runaway freight train. So much so, that even five New York Knicks players stood no chance of stopping him in the open court.

Yup, you read that right. All five Knicks players on the floor took on the high-flying sophomore during a fast break in their match at Smoothie King Arena on Wednesday. With under three minutes left before halftime, the Pelicans star triggered a one-man attack in the open court.

Most players would pull back upon seeing five white shirts closing in on him. Williamson, however, is a special breed.

He took on the one against five challenge and actually came out the winner despite the unfavorable odds. Here's Zion finishing a left-handed lay-in against five Knicks defenders.

With Tim Thibodeau taking over the coaching reins in New York, the Knicks have emerged as one of the best defensive units in the league this season. Zion Williamson, however, did not seem to get the memo and brushed off their D by his lonesome without any help from his Pelicans teammates.

Then again, the Knicks didn't exactly put up a valiant defensive effort in that play. Perhaps Williamson's reputation as an athletic monster freaked them out a bit, as they simply watched as he took off on his launching pad.

Williamson has been on a scoring tear for NOLA over their last three games, recording three straight 30+ point performances. The 6-foot-7 forward has been tallying 26.8 points on 62 percent shooting from the field prior to hosting the Knicks.

With Zion's confidence at an all-time high right now, we can probably expect more amazing highlights like this one for the budding superstar.
