It's no secret that Zion Williamson is having some weight problems right now. He's reportedly ballooned all the way up to 330 pounds which at this point, is truly a cause for concern for the New Orleans Pelicans. The 21-year-old has yet to play his first game for the Pels this season as he continues to rehab from offseason foot surgery and it sounds like his weight has become a real issue.

On the latest episode of Undisputed, NBA insider Skip Bayless revealed the shocking details of the Pelicans star's eating habits throughout his time on the shelf:

“I'm told his weight isn't quite 330 (lbs). But it's more 310-ish, which is still a huge, huge problem,” Bayless said. “And yet the good news is that he just hired a trainer from LSU, [who] I’m told is very good. The bad news is he still likes to eat whole pizzas washed down with high-sugar soft drinks.”

If this is true then it's not surprising that Williamson has put on all that weight. It sounds like he has no discipline when it comes to eating, which is made worse by the fact that he's likely unable to burn off those calories due to his injury.

It was also recently reported that the Pelicans star also suffered a significant setback in his road to recovery and that he is now in danger of being shut down for the remainder of the season. Needless to say, Zion isn't in a great place right now and he'll need all the help he can get.
