Pirates' All-Star Bryan Reynolds is garnering heavy interest in the trade market after a stellar 2021 season. A plethora of teams are intrigued in making a deal for the center fielder, including the New York Yankees and the Seattle Mariners. Per John Morosi of MLBNetwork:

After a forgettable shortened season in 2020, the 26 year old broke out, earning All-Star honors while hitting .302/.390/.522 with 24 home runs and 90 RBI's. Reynolds proved to be one of the bright spots for a bad Pirates team looking to grow their young talent. Signed until the 2025 offseason, however, it possibly seems like Pittsburgh has no intention of moving him.

The New York Yankees and Seattle Mariners are both playoff capable teams that could look to add outfield depth. With the Yankees, Reynolds could be a great fit both as a hitter and fielder. As a switch-hitter, he could bat left for a team lacking lefty hitters. In the outfield, he could join Joey Gallo and Aaron Judge to create a dangerous trio. For the Mariners, a trade for Reynolds could relieve pressure from young outfielders such as Jake Fraley and Jarred Kelenic, both whom struggled at times last season.

The price for Reynolds could be high. The center fielder is in the prime of his career and is coming off of his best season. It will be interesting to see teams make a push for the Pirates star.
