The Pittsburgh Steelers are in for a rough game against the Indianapolis Colts. The Steelers have a strong defense, but the Colts' running game will be a handful. It will be tough to rely on the defense alone to do most of the work to get the W.

But the fact that they have a stronger defense means that the offense will have more opportunities to set itself up and make plays. This game is the perfect opportunity for Mason Rudolph and the team's young playmakers to set themselves up for success.

Three things could happen if the Steelers offense manage to organize themselves into an efficient unit in their Week 9 game.

Mason Rudolph will throw for 300 passing yards, three touchdowns

Rudolph doesn't get enough credit, but he's doing quite well as a season-long stand-in for Ben Roethlisberger. Since this is the first year where he's made to run the offense, there's been a big adjustment period for him.

His stats show that he's doing very decent work so far. In the five games he's played thus far, he's put up 897 yards and nine passing touchdowns. His completion rate is also at a respectable 64%.

Not everything is peachy in Rudolph's Steelers, however. Fans were baffled with the way he failed to connect his passes against the Miami Dolphins. They didn't hide their disgust when the Dolphins led by two touchdowns at the end of the first quarter.

In Rudolph's defense, everything got better as he finished with 251 yards and two touchdowns. That was his highest passing yards tally to date, and it's fine to expect a 300-yard game from him as they play against the Colts' passing defense. He's motivated to showcase his worth.

JuJu Smith-Schuster will finish with another 100-yard game

JuJu Smith-Schuster has been Rudolph's favorite target this season as he's already accrued 443 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Fans can expect to see more of this connection when it's third-and-long and Rudolph cannot find anyone to pass to.

The 22-year-old wideout is one of the most entertaining players to watch, and his catches have bailed Pittsburgh out of bad situations time and time again. His play has brought about a refreshing sense of confidence from him, reminding Steelers Nation of what Antonio Brown used to be before he acted out and wanted to leave.

That confidence could bring nothing but good news for a Steelers team that's looking for the win that would bring them back to .500. Smith-Schuster will help them achieve that with another 100-yard outing.

The Steelers offense will barely finish on top against the Colts

The biggest question coming into this match is whether the Steelers have enough quality to overpower a Colts team that's ready to duke it out. They will be tested and may be brought to their knees.

However, this Steelers team is a pretty steady ship. Their win will be ugly, sure. But the final scoreline is all that matters in football. The Steelers should have enough in the tank to get them past this challenge.
