Pokemon Scarlet and Violet leaks say that we will have neither biking nor fishing in the ninth-generation Pokemon video game title.

As we get closer to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s release date, more leaks of the game are coming from all over the place. This time around, a new leak suggests that a couple of OG features may no longer be in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet – specifically biking and fishing.

A leaker from Reddit named Kaka posted a compilation of their leaks regarding Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. There were two notable leaks that are pretty outrageous, especially considering that these were long-time features of the game. Apparently, Game Freak could potentially remove Bike Riding and Fishing in the next Pokemon games.

We’re aware that there have been numerous leaks about Pokemon Scarlet and Violet recently. Half of these leaks are true while the other half are false. With that being said, fans should still take this particular leak with a grain of salt. However, prominent Pokemon leakers backed up Kaka’s claims. So there could possibly be a high probability for these features to finally make their exit.

Honestly speaking, this might not go well over with the fans, but, it does seem like the appropriate move. Newer generation Pokemon games have been constantly evolving and adopting more modern gameplay. We feel like it’s about time that Game Freak introduced new methods of traveling around the map and catching Pokemon underwater. After all, we’ve noticed that players no longer need to make use of rods to engage in water battles. As for the bike concern, we’ll have to wait and see what other mode of transportation the devs decide to roll with.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the first installments for the ninth-generation of Pokemon video games, will be coming out exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on November 18, 2022.
