The Toronto Raptors silenced the critics on Saturday night as they defeated the league-best Milwaukee Bucks in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals, and in the process booking their place in their first ever NBA Finals apperance.

However, despite their highly-impressive playoffs run, many people still consider them to be the underdogs in the Finals, going against the defending back-to-back champions in the Golden State Warriors. One man who completely disagrees with this notion is Hall of Famer and TNT analyst Charles Barkley.

According to the outspoken former 11-time All-Star, he believes that the Raptors have what it takes to upset the Dubs in the Finals.

That's a pretty bold claim from Barkley here, and one that most people might not agree with. While the Raptors were outstanding in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Bucks, the general consensus is that the Warriors — despite missing some key guys due to injury — will still be able to come out on top and achieve the elusive three-peat.

The TNT team did point out that the Raptors will have home court advantage, and that they will be staying in Toronto for Game 1 on Thursday, so this might just be something that works in their favor.

Nonetheless, the bookmakers in Vegas also have the Warriors as the heavy favorites in the Finals, so if Barkley were a betting man, then he would make a whole lot of money if his prediction was to come to fruition.
