The Boston Celtics were literally just 0.5 seconds away from virtually securing their place in the Eastern Conference Finals on Thursday. Instead, the Toronto Raptors are now just 2-1 down in the series, which in the mind of Toronto guard Fred VanVleet, does not bode well for the C's moving forward.

As a matter of fact, VanVleet sent out an NSFW warning to Boston following OG Anunoby's insane last-second game-winning triple.

“They f***ed up,” VanVleet said, via Sam Amick of The Athletic. “They f***ed up now.”

Clearly, Fred VanVleet is not joking around here. He's in no mood for pleasantries and seems extremely determined to do everything he can to help the Raptors in the series.

This could have very easily been the other way around. The Raptors who would have been the ones that were f***ed had they lost on Thursday. The defending champs would have been in a 0-3 hole, which is pretty much as insurmountable a situation any team can have themselves in. There's just no getting back from that huge a deficit, and Toronto was extremely lucky that Anunoby made that shot at the buzzer. Otherwise, they would have been well on their way to a premature second-round exit.

Now just 2-1 down, VanVleet and the Raptors have placed themselves in a position to mount a comeback against the Celtics. Game 3 is slated for Saturday, and you can be sure that the Raptors will be coming out firing in that one. Momentum is now on their side, and they certainly have every intention to make Boston work for that W.
