Two of the best small forwards in the NBA went head-to-head Wednesday, as Toronto Raptors All-Star Kawhi Leonard hosted Jimmy Butler and the Philadelphia 76ers in a Eastern Conference showdown up north.

Kawhi Leonard is regarded as the best two-way player in the NBA, and the two-time Defensive Player of the Year wanted to remind Jimmy Butler that on this particular play.

Leonard's defensive instincts are incredible. It also helps that he has enormous hands. Jimmy Butler probably thought he had an easy layup, but The Claw had other ideas and sent the ball into the stands.

Both Kawhi Leonard and Jimmy Butler can become unrestricted free agents after this season ends if they decline their player-options with their respective teams. Leonard and the Raptors have the best record in the NBA.

Jimmy Butler and the Sixers have been playing really good basketball since Philly acquired the four-time All-Star from the Minnesota Timberwolves. It wouldn't shock anyone if the Raptors and Sixers meet in the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals. It would be a treat to see Leonard and Butler go against each other in a seven-game playoff series.

Many wondered what type of player Kawhi Leonard was going to be this season after only playing in nine games last year. He has shown that he is still one of the best players in the world.
