Game 5 was a historic night for the Toronto Raptors, and a forgettable one for the Philadelphia 76ers. The Raptors forged their biggest playoff win while the Sixer suffered their second-worst postseason loss.

Per ESPN Stats & Info, the Raptors' 36-point victory, 125-89, is the biggest winning margin the playoff franchise history. The Sixers, meanwhile, tallied their second-worst postseason loss, short by four points.

The Raptors now have a 3-2 lead and are one win away from the Eastern Conference Finals. Game 5 was simply a dominant performance by the Nick Nurse-led squad.

The Sixers' downfall started when they scored just 17 points in the second quarter while the Raptors exploded for 37 points. Toronto led as much as 40 in the game.

With under nine minutes into the fourth quarter, head coach Brett Brown waved the white flag by taking out his starters.

As a team, Philly shot just 41.8 percent from the field. They had a total of 19 turnovers as opposed to just 10 by the home team. Jimmy Butler and Tobias Harris were the only bright spots for the 76ers, as they logged in 22 points and 15 points respectively.

The Raptors, meanwhile, got stellar performances from Pascal Siakam who had 25 points and eight rebounds, Danny Green who knocked down five 3-pointers, and Kyle Lowry who had 19 points, six rebounds and five assists. Kawhi Leonard, on what was a relatively quiet night for his standards, fooled around and logged in 21 points and 13 rebounds.

Though the series is not yet over, many are already dismissing the Sixers' chances at extending the series to seven games. The Raptors made a statement, and they made it loud and clear.
