Even with Delon Wright most likely missing a significant amount of time this season, the Toronto Raptors are not looking to sign a player to take over his roster spot, per general manager Bobby Webster.

The team is apparently satisfied with the rotation they’re seeing with Kyle Lowry, Fred Van Vleet and their two-way player, Lorenzo Brown, at the point guard spot, according to Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports.

Wright suffered a dislocated right shoulder during their game versus the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday, and currently has no timetable for his return. The Raptors are awaiting the results of further testing, which will determine how much time he’ll be set to miss.

Through 14 games this season, the 25-year-old Utah product is playing solid basketball for the Raptors, averaging decent numbers of 7.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 20.9 minutes per game as the primary backup of Lowry.

If there’s any good news for the Raptors despite the injury to Delon Wright, it will give their other guards a chance to step up their games as they take over the minutes normally given to Wright. The Raptors will return to action on Friday against the New York Knicks, and it will interesting to see how Dwane Casey will adjust his rotation with Wright currently sidelined.
