Washington Redskins quarterback Dwayne Haskins suffered a high ankle sprain in the team's loss to the New York Giants according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media. He also added that Haskins wants to play in the team's last game against the Dallas Cowboys, but it's unclear if he will be allowed to.

Haskins had already thrown for 133 yards and two touchdowns before going down the injury, which made the injury even more disappointing.

During Sunday's game, Haskins had pushed the team to let him continue to play but was told by the Redskins' doctor that he had to sit out. After the game, Haskins told the media that owner Dan Snyder told him he needed to sit. That raised some eyebrows with some wondering why an owner was making such a call.

Haskins took to Twitter to clarify that it was the doctors who made the call, and Snyder was just trying to be supportive while he was in the locker room.

“Dr. West advised me that I was done for this game. Dan Snyder who was in the locker room supporting me, told me I’ve got to listen to the Doctor,” Haskins wrote.

After Haskins went out it was Case Keenum who came in and played well, even though the Redskins couldn't pull off the upset. He threw for 158 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions.

If Haskins can't go against the Cowboys, it will probably be Keenum who will get the start. If the Redskins can pull the upset, they will knock the Cowboys out of the playoffs.
